Actively supporting the community

The Denton Communities principals and personnel believe that contributing to the San Antonio area through involvement in a wide variety of activities is integral to our core mission as a company. We have helped to develop city ordinances to preserve and protect our resources, provided leadership to industry associations and taken part in the fundraising efforts and guidance of charitable organizations, educational institutions and non-profit entities.

Preservation of thousands of trees through creative planning and construction. Creation and dedication of several city parks and greenways and habitat conservation areas.

Preservation and protection of thousands of acres of greenbelts and drainage ways.

Extensive work with the City of San Antonio to develop the Tree Ordinance, Water Quality Ordinance and revised Unified Development Code Ordinance.

Denton Communities has continuously updated innovative and progressive covenants that protect the environment, protect water quality, encourage water saving and conservation. We received a SAWS water conservation award based on the covenants, land planning, landscaping and water conservation measures utilized/implemented in the development of Rogers Ranch.
